What the world needs now...

Reality is changing, in part because the world has failed to find new solutions to old problems. This mirrors the transit of Pluto from Capricorn (financial systems, wealth, business) into Aquarius (what's good for the collective) in January 2024. Expect to see corruption magnified in global situations that threaten our security. Expect to see changes in leadership as the 'old guard' is replaced with younger leaders. Do not expect one solution fitting all...our new leaders are going to have to be innovative if they want to find consensus. The world is changing and perhaps we should change with it.

An extreme reckoning for Democracy

We should stop labelling in our politics and instead recognise that reckless 'extremism' has caused the dangerous polarisation we are seeing now in our democracies, including in the MAGA Republicans in the US & elsewhere. I predict the 'silent majority' who know that negotiation and consensus is the only way forward, and who reject 'extremism', will win the battle for our democracies in the end.

Ukraine’s survival...what’s at stake?

Ukraine's survival is linked to our own. Anyone who doesn't understand that basic fact, that Putin aims to reform the USSR, plays into the hands of a war criminal and murderous dictator. It also encourages other empiricists such as China to invade independent Taiwan...and where does the march of the aggressor end? It's time to recommit to a sovereign and free world and this is contingent on supporting Ukraine's survival.

The inevitable downfall of mainstream media?

Recently major media outlets in America wined and dined with criminally indicted ex president Trump's campaign, according to alternative media company Meidas Touch. Meanwhile another major media outlet NBC aired an interview with Meet the Press host Kristen Welker and the ex president who was not fact checked or challenged during the media interview. That's not how it's supposed to go, yet it is symptomatic of the dysfunctional media at this time. In the future, much will change.

Calling on the Temperance Angel

When we are in harmony with the flow of life, Spirit's abundance can find us. When we pursue extremism or fundamentalism, we are blind to the looming consequences of our actions. Mormon 'Mummy blogger' Ruby Franke's indictment on child abuse charges is a case in point, as are politicians, leaders and their followers who pursue dangerous extremist paths.

Do you put politics above family relationships?

Politics above family? Some, undoubtedly, do put politics first before maintaining family relationships. What they are doing in reality, is saying that what divides us is more important than what unites us. At the base of this is the driving emotional force of beliefs and values, and we don't always hold common beliefs. The question is, how do we manage this...I have a few suggestions.

It's a fortunate time for the truth. In the US we are witnessing what accountability looks like...and it's a sweet victory after a period when the moral arc teetered almost off its dial, driven to destruction by greed, power lust, ignorance and bigotry. Beware, as they say, of false Gods.
